merging ballet & painting

we worked with photographer Luke Carter Wilton to capture this vision with minimal sfx. we shot a paint brush on hundreds of angles, lighting it with fibre optic light in a dark room, then merged dozens of these shots together to create the illusion of a leg.

this visual was then used to promote West Australian Ballet’s upcoming performance of "echoes of VAN GOGH".
